Hi everyone.
We're currently having a problem with a couple of threads in our RPs with people not responding to posts quick enough. Obviously we understand that there is such a thing as real life, because we have some of that ourselves, but it was stated in the rules that players should be willing to actually play when they sign up.
We know that people are getting anxious to advance the game and so we're going to be instituting a new rule. From now on, any thread that has been waiting for another player's post for a month may now continue with the next person in the thread's posting order. The person whose post was supposed to be next will be leapfrogged and picked up on the next rotation, providing they are actually playing.
We're not doing this to sideline anyone, but it really isn't fair that people are sitting waiting for their turn when some people just aren't interested in playing.
An Admin post will appear in the thread or threads where leapfrogging will occur, telling the next player to take their turn. Watch out for these if you are still playing, because it might be your turn next.
If you think a month's too long, or if you have any objections, please let us know via PM. We will amend the rule if necessary, depending on what people say.
Cheers, The Admin

Shak has asked me to add a new addition to this rule that anyone who is pogo'd in the aforementioned way can make a new post at any time afterwards, and pick up their place in the posting order (if there is one) from that position on all subsequent cycles.
